Anne Van Allen is a native Floridian and has resided in central Florida for 16 years. Anne has always been involved in athletics and riding horses for most of her life. Things started to change in 2000 when she began to encounter hip pain and was told by an orthopedic surgeon that a double hip replacement needed to be performed. The damage was due to a car wreck and a congenital defect in her hips. At 37, Anne knew she had to seek an alternative to surgery. She went to a chiropractor for alignment and immediately was told to start taking pilates. Now out of shape due to lack of exercise, she began training in pilates three times a week. This changed her life! Her hips grew stronger and the pain disappeared. She became strong all the way to her core and took control of her life. She developed such a passion for pilates that she started training under Pilates Master, Ariel Hernandez of Lake Mary. He helped Anne get certified in pilates on the reformer and mat. This was the beginning of a life change for Anne. She now knew her life purpose was to help others take back their lives as well. Today, as a certified Life style transformation coach, she has many clients of all ages she works with and has truly become passionate for helping others overcome their limitations due to weight gain, lack of confidence and injuries. Her goal is to teach people how to look and feel good about themselves inside and out. Anne is a certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance and has completed her certification in meditation, relaxation and laughter yoga. Her focus is a healthy mind, body and soul. Her goal is to reach as many people as possible about the benefits that pilates and yoga can provide. The two disciplines do definitely compliment each other. Anne enjoys helping others achieve their goals. Come on in to Tranquiliti and embark on your new life journey. You can do it too!! Carpe diem!

Born and raised in NY, Marie Dill was originally introduced to yoga in 2000. It was often a great release after working in the NY hotel industry and became a favorite hobby. After moving to Florida in 2003, she was looking to expand her knowledge of yoga, health and wellness, set aside the corporate world for awhile and concentrate on her family. She went on to pursue the path of becoming a yoga teacher by attending the 200 hour training at Yogamatrix Studio in Orlando, led by Edely Wallace in 2006/2007. She is eternally grateful to Edely for introducing her to the many aspects of yoga that have brought about a life changing experience. She has attended workshops with Kathryn Budig and is in the process of working towards her 500 hour certification with many great teachers. Marie recently completed her prenatal yoga teaching certification and is looking forward to sharing this knowledge to expectant mothers. Marie teaches Hatha Yoga to students of all levels who are looking to integrate the body and mind. She lives in the Windermere/Winter Garden area with her husband and three children. She is registered with Yoga Alliance.
Holly began her yoga journey about 8 years ago when she began taking yoga classes.Coming from a career in marketing and sales, Holly always knew her desire was to help and give to others. Her love for fitness was how she decided to give her time and energy. After completing several marathons, Holly’s passion was still for teaching yoga. She decided to pursue a teaching certification through Yogafit and completed 200 hours. She is also certified as a Les Mills Body Flow instructor.
Holly welcomes all levels to her classes. She is grateful to be able to practice daily as ,well as, being able to assist and encourage people in their journey – whether it is ongoing or a new path. Her goal is for everyone to embrace this journey and incorporate yoga into their daily lives to find peace within themselves. Private and semi-private training also available
My name is Kenyon Hlavinka. I began my yoga journey in the mid 90s by inconsistently taking classes. In the late 90s I took a yoga and meditation class that opened my eyes to the vast system that yoga is. Prior to that I thought yoga was only poses, and since I was athletic and healthy I was only marginally interested in poses. In 2001 I completed a 200 level teacher training and began practicing yoga on and off the mat regularly. Several years later I took a workshop from yoga master Amrit Desi, which profoundly altered my practice and teaching. From him I learned how to practice being present, using the techniques of yoga to relax with whatever arises; pleasant or unpleasant, in a pose or in a traffic jam. When I teach yoga, I instruct students how to be present with the pose and connect to breath. In 2009 I completed a yoga therapy training for people with cancer and chronic illness. I taught patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer as part of a medical study at Wake Forest School of Medicine in NC. In addition to the breast cancer study, I also taught a cancer class for patients at High Point Regional Medical Center in NC. My focus in all of my classes is applying the techniques of yoga to your life off the mat; the mat is simply a formal practice for learning the techniques. I encourage students to use the tools of yoga to reduce suffering and stress, and connect to the peace, joy and energy of life.
